Jessica Serio, M.Ed., c.o.
I have always been curious about people, their stories, and the many paths they can take in life. That curiosity, combined with a passion for helping others, led me to a career in Guidance Counselling.
I remember what it felt like to be a student searching for direction in a world that seemed so vast and full of possibilities. While having many options is exciting, it can also feel overwhelming. Career planning is rarely a straight line, and it is natural for interests, goals, and aspirations to evolve over time. Sometimes the right path is the one discovered after exploring something new.
My role is not to make decisions for students, but to help them better understand themselves and the opportunities available to them. Together, we can explore interests, strengths, values, and goals to find a path that feels like the right fit. And if that path changes along the way, that's okay too. Growth often comes from being open to new experiences and possibilities.
I feel privileged to support students as they discover who they are, where they want to go, and how they can build a future that is meaningful to them. Every student's journey is unique, and I am honored to help them find the confidence to embrace new possibilities and take the next step, wherever it may lead.
